BC Fire Extinguishers

Clean Agent Fire Extinguishers

How to Use A Fire Extinguisher?

Step 1: Most of the fire extinguishers come with a pin at the top of the device. Pull the pin to break the seal of the extinguisher to make it functional.

Step 2: Approach the fire while maintaining a safe distance full stop in the nozzle of the fire extinguishing device towards the base of the fire.

Step 3: Squeeze the handles of the fire extinguisher together to discharge the extinguishing component stored inside the device. To stop the stream of discharge, just release the handle.

Step 4: As you approach the fire, keep on sweeping the nozzle from side to side. However, maintain the direction of the nozzle as the base of the fire.
